Hold your own LEGO brick sword

I have some exciting news to share! I am sure you can guess, because there is one big thing that my followers ask for – to have their own custom models. Now, you can. I am launching Sci Fi Briks Dream. It is a series of building kits with genuine LEGO® bricks and instructions. Each kit is designed to be a fun build and epic addition to your collection.

Right now, two sets are live, the 1:1 sword and the Stargate. The 1:1 sword is an exact replica of Anduril from Lord of the Rings. It is epic – it is “swooshable”, massive and looks fantastic on a shelf. Now it can be yours!

These sets are just the beginning – I am going to be working on Stargate, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek themed kits. The models I choose to turn into a kit will be based on popularity, affordability (I don’t want people to have to pay hundreds of dollars) and my capacity to turn them digital.

The subscription package will still be available, and gives access to a series of instructions only (so make sure you look at what is listed on the Instructions page before purchasing). These may overlap with the Dream sets, but they won’t always.

Here’s the gallery for the sword, which is available now!

You might be thinking “this guy just wants to make money now”. That isn’t the case at all, I build and share my builds because it makes me happy. I want to create wonder, and inspire people. LEGO® building is my hobby and something I will always do for fun first. That’s why it has taken so long for the building kits to become a reality, because making instructions and sets is much less fun.

Sharing my builds will always be what my content is primarily about. However, who doesn’t want to turn their hobby into an income? We’re in a cost of living crisis. We now live in a world where a full time job isn’t enough. You need a ‘side hustle’ too. LEGO® bricks are getting more and more expensive. And at the end of the day, this is what all of my followers have asked for – instructions and sets.

It isn’t easy to put these together. I don’t build digitally. I grab pieces and throw them all over my floor, desk and dining table and put something together. It’s so hard for me to make something digital so I can turn it into instructions. But I started building because I wanted my own LEGO model from my favourite fandoms, and I want to share that opportunity with others.

Thank you so much for following me, and sharing this journey with me. And thank you for following my content as I launch Dream!
