The Design Process

The Mark II Viper was one of my first builds, and it fell to the side as it needed a design update but I never got around to it. Finally I got some great curve and SNOT (Studs not on top) elements that allowed me to play with the design and make it more accurate. The challenges were the engines, the tail at the top and the nose. It was also a bit of a challenge to incorporate the iconic red colour scheme.

This MOC was a lot of trial and error to get the shape and colours just right. It is very accurate and detailed, and includes a fully detailed cockpit!

I decided to remove the retractable landing gear in favour of a more accurate nose section, and a smooth underside of the Viper.
