The Design Process
Like the larger counterpart, I struggled with the scale for this LEGO® MOC. I got the scale just right for the centre of the ship by using an odd number of studs for the width. I then used a lot of SNOT (studs not on top) to ensure an accurate shape for the centre and the flight pods.
This was my first digital Stargate build and a trial for my my future digital builds (including Atlantis) so it went through a number of stages to ensure it would be easy to build with instructions, a good size and have parts that are easy to order.
