This year I will be doing the 40 Hour Famine and going without meat for 40 hours. I know this isn’t strictly lego, but it is a great cause. The money I collect will go to starving children in Ethiopia this year. They go through hell. This video is sad , but watch it because it shows you that the world is far from perfect.
It isn’t hard to quickly and easily make a donation that though small for you can change someone’s life. Put in that small effort because in the end it will be worth it.
“Never doubt that a small group of dedicated individuals can change the world, indeed it is the only thing that does.” That is the idea of this blog, having faith that one person can change the world, that one person can do the impossible. One person can make a nearly 100cm long Battlestar out of Lego and one person can make a difference in poverty. You have to “dare to dream.” in all areas of life.
